Star Trek reunion: Thousands of Trekkies gather for TNG cast's first public get-together

Dressed in the goldenrod Starfleet uniform of a lieutenant commander, Cameron White, 33, stood next to his girlfriend and asked a volunteer handing out programs to take a picture.
Then, before the assembled sea of nerds, he kneeled. They gasped. She said yes. They cheered. Megan McLauchlin, 31, dressed in a Starfleet captain's uniform, began to cry.
"She's my captain and she will always be my captain," White said.
Cameron and Meghan are my friends. Congratulations, guys!
